Rethinking strategy for posting updates

If you following our updates  at Patreon, then you probably noticed the changes of last two weeks – the updates got smaller and more frequent. This is result of ongoing re-thinking of structure of our project. And in this particular case –  our infrastructure for delivering updates. So, what it’s all about?

Patreon poll results

I do not know how much that visible from outside, but our project is in the middle of intensive growing. In such periods I am feel increasing responsibility on taking decisions, defining strategies and setting priorities. So, a week ago I have posted a poll for our Patrons: why are you supporting Morevna Project on […]

SuzdalFest / Moscow: Travel report (appendix)

In recent travel report I forgot to mention that in the last days of our trip we also visited two other animation studios. Ok, I am back from my trip and ready to share some results! First of all, much thanks to everyone who sent their words of support for my initiative. It was really awesome to have that feeling of being backed by whole community.  ^__^ In that travel I wasn’t alone – lead artist of Morevna […]

Russian president and animation: What happened in May 2017?

This post was a long due in my queue, but I haven’t had an opportunity to concentrate on writing it. Now it can’t postpone it any more. “All-or-nothing” or “Keep-it-all”?

After analyzing reactions to my previous post on social networks (thanks to everyone who took their time to leave feedback!) it gets pretty much clear: the availability of PayPal payment method heavily influences people’s choice to contribute. That’s logical – there are plenty of people who just prefer do not use their bank cards online. […]

Crowdfunding platform?

I have a question to solve and I want to know your opinion about it. Yesterday in my production report I have mentioned that we are preparing to launch a crowdfunding campaign. Initially we were targeting to run it on Indiegogo platform. But recently I discovered that Indiegogo dropped support for PayPal payment method. That’s […]
