A User’s name and email address are recorded when contacting us. We do not use the information submitted for marketing purposes.

Media

If you upload images to the Website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the Website can download and extract any location data from images on the Website.

Who we share your data with

Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

When you purchase a product through this Website we may send information about your account (your email address) to Paddle.com, which is handling purchase process. This is done to ensure that your purchase/donation will be associated with your account to deliver related services/benefits (if any provided).

Services by Zoho

We share some of collected data with the following services provided by Zoho Corporation Pvt. Ltd.:

  • Zoho Desk – for handling support and contact inquiries. With this service we keep records for all requests, which include your name, email address and messages. We also transmit amount of your total donation pledges and purchase history, which is used to provide relevant context. We do not use the information submitted for marketing purposes.
  • Zoho Campaigns – for providing email notifications to our users and newsletter.  For registered users we transfer their email address to Zoho Campaigns for the purpose of notifying them about important changes to our services (such as changes to our Privacy Policy or data breach notifications) and for fulfilling orders. Also, any Website user (registered or not) can give his explicit consent to receive our email announcements about product updates and relevant company news/promotions. This consent is given through opt-in forms on our website. We use double opt-in forms to ensure authenticity of provided consent. In all cases only email address information is transferred to this service.
  • Zoho CRM – for handling customers database and history of donations/purchases.

Zapier

We use Zapier service to transfer information about purchases (which come from third-party services, see below) to this Website, Zoho Desk and Zoho CRM. Please see Zapier Privacy Policy for more details.

What third parties we receive data from

Patreon

We receive information about purchases/donations given to our project through Patreon platform. The donations are transferred using Zapier service. Please see Patreon Privacy Policy for more details.

We receive information about purchases/donations given to our project through Paddle payment service. The donations are transferred using Zapier service. Please see Paddle Privacy Policy for more details.

Gumroad

We receive information about your purchases/donations given to our project through Gumroad platform. The donations are transferred using Zapier service. Please see Gumroad Privacy Policy for more details.

Akismet

We use Akismet anti-spam service to automatically detect spam comments on the Website. The information includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Website URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself). How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our Website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data
